What brought you to UAB?
Getting an education has always been important to me, and I wanted to go to a good school. I had Samford (family legacy) as an option, but I wanted to get into a school on my own merit without help from my family. Getting into school on my own was a great accomplishment for me.
What do you want to do after you graduate?
I want to get my CPA from UAB and then work internationally.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
I am treasurer of Birmingham for Political Progress, Vice President of Alpha Kappa Psi, professional fraternity, and a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
What does the year 2016 mean for you?
Prosperity – I want to be able to provide for my daughter and my family.
