Greek Week is a week in the spring when all the fraternities and sororities are paired up with one another to compete throughout the week in different events. Along with competing, members get the chance to participate in community service, educational presentations and social events. Greek Week is about bringing all of greek life together, having fun and competing for points to see which pairing will win! This year, my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta was paired with Delta Tau Delta and Tau Kappa Epsilon. The big event at the end of the week is a dance competition. This year, the dance competition was held at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The groups had been learning and practicing their dances and skits over the past few weeks. They all got the chance to perform their unique dances and skits in front of their friends, family and the rest of the Greek community. Our pairing was fortunate to win third place in the dance/skit and took second overall! It was safe to say, Greek Week 2016 was a success!
