It seems since the beginning of time, women have been told not to do this, not to wear this, not to act like this, not to have sex with this many guys all in order to please others, or shall I say MEN. Nowadays, women are considered “hoes,” if they are known for sleeping with a lot of guys, but yet if a guy does it, they get praised for it.
Sex is definitely something that is sacred, and should be treated as such, which is why it is important for us as women to not be quick to give it up so easily. Women are some of the most powerful creatures God has ever created, and we have to let these guys know, they can only do what we allow them to do. Now, I’m not saying if you’ve had sex with a few guys it’s wrong because I for one am not a virgin, I’m just saying if you are going to have sex, watch who you are having sex with. If you’re not careful, these guys will screw you over and leave you broke and emotional. While you’re giving your body away, to him, he probably thinking of ways to not give a damn, so whatever route you choose, at least get something out of it.
Now, would I want a guy that has slept with at least 50 girls at my age? Hell no! Honestly, he probably doesn’t even remember all of their names, If I had been with that many guys, a guy has a right to say “okay, I chose not to be with her because she has been with a lot of guys,” but if a guy chooses to feel that way, then a woman has that same right. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, it should be fair across the board. There shouldn’t be an “It’s okay for me to sleep with 100 girls but if you sleep with 10 guys, you’re a whore.”
Everyone’s opinion on how they think a woman should act and carry herself is different. When it comes to casual sex, if you are single, by all means do what you want. By all mean don’t go out and sleep with everything you see, but don’t down yourself about it just because some guy has an opinion about it. If I chose not to have sex with a guy, that decision is based on what I want to do, not because a guy says that it is wrong for me to do it.
Ladies, just remember, there is nothing wrong with loving and respecting yourself, but make sure you hold these guys to that same exact standard, and base your decisions on what YOU feel, not some guy. Who cares what they think.
I can honestly say that I can respect a single woman who has slept with 50 single men than a woman who has slept with 1 guy who is in a relationship with someone else while sleeping with them….but hey that is another conversation for another day.
