1. Pumpkin Patches
The pumpkin patch is open and ready for business. Vala’s Pumpkin Patch is by far one of my favorite attractions in Omaha, NE. I’ve been going there since I was three and I will never get bored of it. Between choosing my pumpkin for the season, watching the pig races or the amazing food, Vala’s will always be one of my favorite places.
2. Haunted Houses
Now if you’re into scary stuff and can handle things jumping out at you left and right, then you and I would get along. Although I’m not much into horror films, a good haunted house is always a good idea. There are a wide array of choices in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. All the way from simple haunted houses made by a family in their garage to a haunted house with 12 levels with a daring challenge at each level. Make it to the top and you get your money back! I promise it’s all about laughing your way through it and understanding that it’s all fake.
3. Football Games
Can you feel the ground shaking under your feet and see the thousands of people running around the stadium? Yes ladies and gentlemen, I’m talking about football games. Whether it’s the sweat slowly running all the paint covering your body down your side, or losing your voice cheering on your school, football season is one of the best and most exciting things about Fall.
4. Food
One of the most important things on this list. Pumpkin Spice Lattes, sweet potatoes, baked chicken, sweet corn etc. Imagine Thanksgiving dinner lining the tables. Honestly this season is the reason I have to work out more in the winter to get my summer body back.
5. Fall Style
Finally but most definitely not least, is the clothing. The weather is perfect for layering and comfy clothes that still look like you actually tried when you woke up. It’s the perfect season to not care and still give off the impression that you have your life together. Leggings, boots, a baggy sweater and jacket is all I need to make the perfect outfit; with a little in style jewelry of course to top it off.
