You Snooze you Lose.

At first I assumed this place was over-hyped because of how many people ran to stand in line the opening week. However, after trying everything myself I am a die hard Snooze fan. You feel like you’re eating in California with its bright lights and mid century modern décor. I refuse to go to ihop ever again.

The only issue I had was the long wait time. If you go on a weekend you might have to wait around 2 hours for breakfast. Even though it’s totally worth it you can combat this by going on weekdays or before 8:30 am on weekends.

They have a small private parking lot but if that’s full, there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The restaurant is filled with plenty of booths, which is great for groups, plus they have outdoor seating and a counter/bar area with stools you can snag a seat to eat at without a reservation.

The OMG French toast! is a must. Bread & Cie brioche stuffed with mascarpone then griddled and topped with vanilla crème, salted caramel, fresh strawberries and toasted coconut. OMG is right. My mouth is watering writing this post.

Of course you can’t eat sweet without getting a savory dish and we picked the Snooze Breakfast Burrito. It is massive so it’s best to go splitsies on this one. It’s a burrito Filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, house black beans, cheddar & jack cheese, topped with pico de gallo and choice of green chili or ranchero.

There are so many things on the menu that I can’t wait to go back and try!
