Let’s recap some of the most important events that happened our 4th week of class. Yes, it’s only been a month since we started class! Time hasn’t been flying as fast as week think, but let’s start with this week’s theme.
The Student Government Association (SGA) kicked off this week at our home by the sea with lots of events and eagerness to know more about what’s to come for homecoming week. They started Monday with a Meet the SGA Officers mixer. On Tuesday they offered a school-wide service opportunity, a blood drive, which then led up to the heavily attended Wild N’ Out additions. Hampton students undoubtedly know how to roast each other and it was Hampton uncensored that night. Thankfully nobody’s feeling got too hurt with the rapid jokes.  Thursday SGA had they’re most anticipated event, the homecoming unveiling. New Era completely slayed their performance along with a Divine Nine step show preview. After getting a taste of what homecoming is going to look like it’s safe to say everyone is pretty excited. The biggest part of the unveiling was who the featured artist would be; we got Lil Uzi Vert! We’re all counting down the days till tickets go on sale. Friday was a very lively 12-2 for all ages considering it’s also the start to Parents Weekend. The Terpsichorean Dance Company had a phenomenal performance last Friday. SGA week came to a close with a waterfront workout and a Hampton themed Holland Saturday night.
