It’s fall y’all! And Roots N Blues is finally here. So naturally, we must know what foods will be in attendance. Priorities right? The Festival runs from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, and it’s going to be a hit this year. Save the date and come hungry!
Of course, there will be BBQ on BBQ to choose from, along with snacks, desserts and drinks. Here’s five vendors to look out for this year to channel your inner foodie.
1. Broadway Brewery
Broadway Brewery is coming in hot with a “whole hog pork plate.” I can only imagine the size of that feast! Come hungry people.
2. MO Legacy Beef
With two burger options, a BBQ brisket sandwich, a sirloin steak sandwich, all beef brats and beef jerky, you meat lovers won’t want to leave this vendor.
3. Lily’s Cantina
If BBQ isn’t your thing, check out this taco vendor! C’mon, we all love tacos. And with this variety, you’re sure to find something to munch on. Kinds of tacos include Thai chicken tacos, Pac pacific pork tacos, shrimp tacos and lobster tacos. Finish your meal off with a churro, and you basically just went to Mexico during your time at this vendor.
4. Lee’s Express
Not a fan of BBQ or tacos? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Check out Lee’s Express to get your Chinese food fix. They’ve got crab Rangoon, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, LoMein, pad Thai and many types of chicken. Grab a Bob Tea while you’re there to keep hydrated during this food fest.
5. Peggy Jean’s Pies
Calling all sweet tooths! After you fill up on BBQ, tacos, and Chinese, finish up with a pie from Peggy Jean. They have all kinds of pies, so don’t worry about a slim selection.
