As we transition from the warm heat of the summer to the cool breeze of the fall, our fashion changes along with the weather. We’re delving into “sweater weather” which means more layers to stay warm as we approach the winter months. At UTM, the fall fashion is already in full swing, and a few students decided to share their fall fashion looks with Her Campus.

Meet Pascale Boudreau. She is a second-year student majoring in Mathematics. Her favourite thing about the fall season is probably the warm, spicy teas. Her personal favourites are chai and earl grey tea. For her outfit she went with a grey dress, chunky blue scarf, a black purse and black booties to match.

Meet Reema M. She is a fourth-year Psychology major. Her favourite thing about autumn is all the pretty colours that come with it, specifically the colours of the changing leaves. For her outfit, she went with a purple sweater, layered with an army green jacket and black leggings. To accessorize her outfit, she wore a plaid scarf that ties in with the colours of her sweater and jacket and grey lace-up shoes.

Meet Nadia Fakhry. She is a third-year student majoring in Socio-Legal Studies. Her favourite thing about the fall season is being able to drink warm drinks without overheating. For her look, she went with a black flowy top, grey maxi-skirt, and a green jacket. To accessorize, she wore a thick brown scarf and white Converse.

Meet Sahiba Shah. She is a second year student majoring in English and Professional Writing. Her favourite thing about the fall season is the changing leaves as well as the changing weather. For her look, she went with a fuzzy grey sweater with a unique patern across her chest, a brown and black chevron poncho, and a pair of skinny jeans with black sneakers.

Meet me, Janine Wright. I am a second-year student majoring in English and Professional Writing with a minor in Linguistics. My favourite thing about the fall season would be getting the chance to wear really warm clothing. I decided to wear a pink body suit with black leggings, paired with combat boots (not pictured below) and a black poncho with white stripes to make the outfit more fall appropriate.

Some great places to find outfits for the fall include Forever 21, Garage, and Topshop. If you’re looking for the best sales, sign up for email alerts from your favourite stores to be the first to know when clothing is going on sale. I hope that these outfits give you some inspiration in creating your own looks for the fall.
