Here at Her Campus-UW Lax, we have two Campus Correspondents, or leaders of Her Campus. Sarah and Maddie both joined Her Campus one year ago in order to get more involved on campus and pursue their love of writing. When former CC Kasey graduated, Maddie and Sarah decided to take over and lead the club! Maddie is a Junior at UWL, and is a Broadcast/Communication Studies major. She is from the Wisconsin Rapids area. Sarah is a Sophomore at UWL, and a Marketing major. She’s from the Appleton area, but spent her summer in Door County! Both Maddie and Sarah have written numerous articles for Her Campus. They both LOVE writing Features. Maddie’s favorite part of Her Campus is not only writing, but having a leadership opportunity on campus that empowers women to speak their minds. Writing for Her Campus not only improves writing skills, but helps connect women at UWL! Sarah loves planning events and coming up with ideas to host and bring together different clubs! Her Campus UWLax plans on throwing events this year with many different student organizations. Sarah says to stay tuned and up to date to hear about events that are coming near you!
