Fright at the Fort, Fort Knox State Park

Brave visitors are led through a spooky, fog-filled granite fortification where surprises await that are perfect for teenagers and adults. The Fright is open from 5:30 to 9pm on October 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th and admission is $10 for adults.

Frankenstein at The Collins Center

I’m sure everyone is familiar with the story of Frankenstein. Misunderstood and grotesque as ever, this tale follows Frankenstein’s adventure after being kicked out by his maker. The Collins Center on campus is showing this movie live on Halloween night from 7pm to 9pm. Tix and more information are available here:collinscenterforthearts.com/events

Bangor Zombie Walk 

Love zombie movies, zombie video games or just love to dress up as one? Then the fifth annual Zombie Walk is something you should attend. Saturday, October 24th from 3 to 7pm, the Bangor Waterfront will be filled with tons of lovers of the undead. There will also be vendors and activities. So get your shuffle on and practice your best zombie noise for October 24th! Admission is free. 

Kenduskeag Haunted House

For a long time, this haunted house has been scaring people out of their pants. It’s been around for a while, so the people in charge know how to get a good scream out of someone. Come check out how scary is it from 7pm to midnight on October 30th and 31st. Admission is $5.  

Destination Haunt

Does a haunted exucation center, buried alive cemetary, maze and clown house (yes, I did say clown house!) give you the goosebumps and shivers? Destination Haunt located in Lebanon has exactly that. This self-guided tour has everything that’s creepy about Halloween. Admission is $20. Visitdestinationhaunt.com for more details and tickets.

Ghostport

Come to Bucksport on October 22nd for a lot of Halloween fun! Bucksport hosts its annual festival in the downtown from10 am to 10 pm. It includes a parade, pumpkin carving, fireworks, food, live music and more!
