Penn State shook Beaver Stadium on Saturday, October 22, after beating Ohio State University 24-21 in what is being considered the biggest upset in college football in the 2016-2017 season. This is the first time in 52 years that an unranked Penn State University team has beat a No. 2 team.

Urban Meyer and The Ohio State Buckeyes entered the game with an undefeated victory streak of 6-0 while James Franklin and The Penn State University Nittany Lions have a seasonal win-lose streak of 4-2. The Ohio State Buckeyes were the favorite to win Saturday night’s game due to the fact that they ranked No. 2 in the Top 5 in the NCCA.

The score in the first quarter of the game stood at 0-0 until the Buckeyes scored 12 points in the second quarter by the lead of J.T Barrett, Tyler Durbin and Marcus Baugh. Penn State caught up with 7 points thanks to Chris Godwin and Trace McSorely. The Ohio State Buckeyes were in the lead in the third quarter, 21-17.

The Penn State University Nittany Lions made a major comeback in the fourth quarter when Trace McSorely, Tyler Davis, and Grant Haley brought down Beaver Stadium by scoring 17
