Kalijah Stokes, known to most people as “Kali” or “Kals” is a sophomore, Sports Management major from Brooklyn, NY. This quintessence queen has the style, attitude, and resumé to make her a certified Campus Cutie!
HC: What is your dream job?
Kali: Sports Agent
HC: What is your biggest motivation?
Kali: My mom. She gave up her job in education to start her own PR agency. I’m starting early with working on my career now so I won’t have to struggle like she did.
HC: Favorite item in your closet right now?
Kali: This color blocked trench coat. I love it because I can wear it with sweatpants and Uggs, and it makes me look like I’m making a fashion statement.
HC: What is something most people don’t know about you?
Kali: I often look to multiple people for approval.
HC: Current obsession?
Kali: Athletic Bridge! I’ve started a program that provides student athletes with the opportunity to fully develop their skills through college level funding and training.
HC: They tell the guys not to leave here without a Hampton Woman. What do you think?
Kali: Well my advice would be: Don’t leave here with just a pretty Hampton woman, because Hampton has a stigma of having pretty women. Leave here with a woman who has her head on strong, came here with a purpose, and finished with integrity. That’s the woman you shouldn’t leave here without.
HC: So are you Single, Crushing or Taken?
Kali: TAKEN!
HC: What do you think is the hardest part about having a relationship in college?
Kali: Ummm I wanna say trying to make sure everyone isn’t in your business.
HC: So what advice would you give to your fellow Hampton Women looking for their Hampton Man?
Kali: Don’t search for him. Let him come to you, and make sure that whoever he is you guys take your time, and be friends before anything. It’s easy to fall for someone because you share the same space.
