6 DIY Christas Gift ideas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WPUNJ chapter.

On a budget? rather make home-made gifts this Christmas? Check out some of these DIY Christmas gift ideas:

1. Mistle Toes mason jar kit

Fill a mason jar with nail polish, a nail file, cotton balls, nail clippers, and any other mani/pedi necessities. For a special touch add a personal tag.

2. Reinbeers!

Sometimes your favorite beer is the perfect gift, but add a holiday touch by adding brown pipe cleaners around the bottle caps, googley eyes and red cotton balls as noses.

3. Deck of cards for that special someone

Hole punch a deck of cards, use binder rings to make them into a book and the rest is up to the imagination.

(52 reasons I love you, 52 adventures to go on, 52 moments with you, 52 date ideas, etc.)

4. Tea Tree

Use an paper towel roll as the “bark” of the tree and paste on tea bags, starting from the bottom. Add a star at the top of the tree and a cute message to complete your tea-loving friend’s gift.

5. Cozy goodies

Everyone loves a good pair of slippers, especially when they come with goodies inside. Fill the slippers with little gifts and tie a ribbon around them for the finishing touch.

6. Special letters

Get a wooden letter, paint it any color, and paste on special photos so that it covers the whole letter. Depending on how many photos you have, you can do the gift reciever’s initials or spell out their name. The possibilities are endless!
