Sticking to your New Year resolutions can certainly be time consuming and tricky. We all deserve some breaks but considering it is still the beginning of the year we should try keeping up with the resolutions. Here are some quick tips to help you.
- Set weekly goals.Pick one thing to accomplish by the end of every week. Picking one goal a week keeps you more motivated to complete the goal instead of having to worry about finishing a few different ones and it becoming more like a chore.
- Water helps with dieting. Do the water challenge and try to drink a gallon a day. Writing out time goals on the jug of water can help you remember to drink a lot.
- Workout with friends. Friends are the best motivators. Pick a reliable friend to go to the gym with you a few times a week. If one of you is feeling lazy to have a productive workout you’ll have the other to lean on and push you to burn some calories!
- Make a great music playlist! Pick songs you enjoy and that will keep your spirits up enough to fight the urge to leave the gym after 10 minutes.
- Resolutions can’t be all work and no play. Create a reward system. Reward yourself for achieving some of your goals with treating yourself to a nice night out every so often.
And most importantly remember there is always next year to restart your resolutions!
