1. They are adorable, obviously.

2. They never fail to make you smile.

3. You always have a companion, cuddle buddy and running pal (if you’re into that fitness stuff).

4. It teaches you responsibility in an aspect more than having a job or turning in an assignment by midnight.

You have a living creature that depends on you. Your day-to-day life changes on a dime and you have to learn how to roll with it. Granted it is rather scary but once you do it you feel invincible.

5. They are an alarm clock so you do not have to set one every night.

When they want you up, you’re up, no doubt about that. Although it is inconvenient at first, getting up everyday at 7am will make you feel more refreshed, so much day is ahead of you.

6. They show you what it’s like to be a mother and it’s amazing.

The parenting aspect of watching them grow and learn is so rewarding.Â
