Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl half time performance wasn’t anything less than perfect and either was her body. Unless you live under a rock, I’m sure you have seen all over the internet that Lady Gaga has a “belly” that many people think should’ve been covered up. When in reality not only did she look fabulous but is also in fabulous shape! To sing and dance around the stage like she did for 13 minutes is not an easy task. The fact that some people were so focused on her stomach, instead of her super star performance and more importantly the message she was sending of equality for all. On Tuesday Gaga spoke out on Instagram saying…
“I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don’t need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That’s the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga”
She didn’t choose to cover up like most people would have in her position because she knows not having a completely flat stomach is normal and embraces her body like she always has during her career no matter what she has looked like. You go GaGa!
