5 Makeup Products Delicious Enough To Eat

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

Oftentimes, the packaging of a product is what piques the consumer’s interest at first glance. My mom would always tell me to never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach, but who knew this could apply to makeup too? From rich chocolatey eye palettes, to egg-cream infused sheet masks, the cosmetic industry has been stepping up their delicious factor with food-inspired makeup.

1.) The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette – Too Faced

A cult classic, the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette is a delectable treat, boasting matte and shimmer eye shadows that actually smell like chocolate. The exterior packaging is also cute, resembling a classic willy-wonka-esque chocolate bar.

2.) Honey Lip Scrub – Sephora Collection

Sephora has changed the game with a lip scrub packaged as a balm, infused with real honey extract and tied together with a cute honeycomb-inspired print. Their website claims 100% of users tested claim their lips feel exfoliated and after 21 days, 96% say their lips are smoother. I wonder if all the buzz is real?

3.) VOLUPTÉ SHEER CANDY – Yves Saint Laurent

A glossy lip balm filled with rich fruit extract, YSL leaves their classic luxurious stamp with rich colors and packaging. Did I mention they smell like fruit too? It’s also guaranteed to leave your lips hydrated and soft for up to 8 hours. I’d feel like a kid in a candy store if I could score all three colors.

4.) Egg Cream Mask – Too Cool For School

Popular Korean Beauty Brand Too Cool For School offers an egg-infused line that is particularly intriguing. Their products promise extra hydration and brightening due to egg extract. Would you like your mask scrambled or sunny side up?

5.) Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlighting Palette – Too Faced

Too Faced takes the cake again with their entire Sweet Peach collection. This highlighter is actually infused with peach and gives your skin the perfect peachy glow. Mood: Peachy Keen
