Spring is in the air! The new season offers us better weather, beautiful blooming flowers, and playful outdoor activities. Take advantage of this new chapter by exploring around the North Texas area. Here below I have listed some exciting adventures you can take by yourself or with friends. These activities will surely allow you to relax and take a much-needed break from your hectic everyday life.  

  1. Bluebonnet Trails of Ennis, Texas: Enjoy breathtaking Bluebonnet views when you visit this gorgeous roadside attraction. Starting from April 4/1/17 through 4/30/17 one can take advantage of this scenic landscape. They offer tours for both large and small gatherings. This place is also a staple for photographers. Each year they host a photo competition to see who can capture the best view of the breathtaking landscape. Set a date in your planner now to see what this is all about!

    2. Texas Tulips of Pilot Point, Texas: This activity offers beautiful tulip sightings, which are idyllic of the countryside in the Netherlands. You can go with friends and family to hand pick the flowers of your choice. After you enjoy a peaceful outing, you can take some of the fun with you. This is truly an amazing way to capitalize on the perfect spring weather.

       3. Lantern Fest of Ennis, Texas: This festival offers food, live music, s’mores, and more! After an evening of concessions and enchanting tunes, watch the sky light up with thousands of lights. Curl up with your significant other and enjoy the romance. This is a night you will never want to forget!

         4. The Sidewalk Sale of Dallas, Texas: This event occurs at the Woodall Rodgers Plaza on the first Saturday of each month. It is underneath the bridge of the McKinney Ave. and Lamar Street. The entire space below this bridge is lit up with beautiful neon lights. They also offer various street vendors who sell interesting goods and delicious eats. This is an adventurous place to enjoy a night out with friends!

 

         5. Magnolia Market at the Silos of Waco, Texas: If you have never heard of the Silos of Waco, you must be living under a rock. This is a home marketplace with the bonus of food truck selection. This attraction was founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines of the hit HGTV show, Fixer Uppers. Their show revitalizes dilapidated neighborhoods and turns them into shabby-chic getaways. Every year, thousands of fans flock to this attraction to add some flare to their homes (and mostly take photos)
