The Beauty Blender truly revolutionized the way one does their makeup. Making foundation and concealer blend perfectly many beauty junkies traded their old brushes for a new Beauty Blender. The one problem though was the price. Listed at Sephora for $20 it is hard to justify such an expensive price; especially considering it will only last three months before needing to be replaced. Due to the popularity of this idea, other companies attempted to make their own makeup sponge. Ulta’s Miracle Complexion Sponge is now widely used in place of the Beauty Blender and cost just $6.99. I put both sponges to the test to see which one is truly worth it.

Overall I think either of these beauty sponges are a good choice. If it comes down to price the Miracle Complexion Sponge will always win selling for less than half of the Beauty Blender. If you really want to try the Beauty Blender I would say go for it, but if you can bring yourself to splurge, don’t worry the Miracle Complexion Sponge does just fine.
