Spring Break, as Told by the Disney Princesses

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Ah, Spring Break—arguably the most anticipated week of the semester, commemorating the completion of midterms, and giving us all some ever-sought-after relaxation away from school. Our much-needed break may have come to its ultimate end, but the memories made will be sure to keep us sane throughout the remaining two months of the semester. As we get back in the swing of school and upload our remaining pictures to social media, we can look to some of our favorite leading ladies—the Disney princesses—to reflect upon the past week.

Fantasizing about Spring Break the week before, despite the heaping amount of schoolwork you have to deal with beforehand

Waving a rewarding goodbye to campus as you finish your last class on Friday

Speeding home with your bags packed and the car loaded up

Being met at your house by the warm, welcoming arms of your family

Reuniting with your dog after what seemed like eons apart from each other

The pure decadence that is eating a non-dining hall meal…

…which, for New Yorkers, was inevitably a gorgeous slice of pizza

Plopping onto the comfort of your own bed after a long week of midterms…

…and, of course, taking a human-sized shower

Reconvening with your home friends, and catching up on all of your respective college adventures

Basking in the glorious warmth of a long-awaited tropical getaway

Somehow managing to cram in all of your Spring Break assignments

The disenchanting realization that you’ll be coming back to an impending snowstorm across the northeast

And, finally, arriving back to campus—trying to will yourself out of bed on Monday morning

Native New Yorker Brooke Camarda has had her eclectic share of jobs—from the runways of NYFW to the haunted hallways of NYZ Apocalypse. Commonly known by her alter ego of Wonder Woman, there's no task or adventure that the skydiving-enthusiast isn't willing to take on. She loves typography and cappuccinos almost as much as she loves her (very) big family, and is thrilled to be writing for Bentley University's chapter of Her Campus.
Hi, my name is Molly! I'm currently the Co-President and a Campus Correspondent for Bentley University's HC chapter.
