Bon Appétit Mademoiselles: T-Swirl

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JHU chapter.

Right next to Eddie’s Market lies a new restaurant called T-Swirl! It’s an Japanese inspired crepe studio that serves delicious savory and sweet crepes as well as flavorful green teas. Some of their savory crepes include Vegetarian Lover, Tai Chicken, and Shrimp Avocado. They also have very tasty sweet crepes like Matcha Chocolate Truffles, Banana Chocolate, and Lychee Romantic. Most of the crepes are about $6-$9 and the green teas are about $3-$4, so it’s a great place for a nice meal that won’t break the bank.

Last night, one of my suite-mates and I ordered T-Swirl to treat ourselves and delivery only took 30 minutes! I got the T-swirl BLT, which had obviously bacon, lettuce, and tomato, with fresh avocado, boiled egg, and chipotle aioli. It was a great, flavorful combo. Paired with their sweet and light honey green tea, it was a great dinner to celebrate the beginning of spring break!

My suit-mate ordered a savory Egg White Mushroom Truffle which had egg whites, mushrooms, spinach, truffle oil, cheddar, and tofu sauce. She loved the sophisticated taste! She also got a mango green tea with her dinner which was a fantastic blend of mango and green tea.

I would definitely recommend checking it out with some friends as it’s a nice place close to campus that serves amazing food!
