This week we caught up with senior Margaux Scott to learn about what she’ll miss most about Clark. Read on to hear her words of wisdom for underclassmen and her favorite Bistro snack.
Name: Margaux
Hometown: Hope, Maine
Major: Psychology
Minor (if you have one): Education
Favorite Professor at Clark: Professor DeMeulenaere
Favorite Class at Clark: Psychology of Mindfulness
Favorite Spot to Study on Campus and Why:
Well, my first choice would be my bed because it’s very cozy, but I’m not usually very productive there, so my second choice would be the Fuller Music Room on the 4th floor of the library. The Fuller Music Room has great natural light!
Favorite Bistro Snack:
Deep river barbeque chips or a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar!
What has been your favorite thing about going to school at Clark?
I have made a lot of really great friends here, and I also got to come to Clark with my best friend from Kindergarten and my sister. I loved going abroad to Cape Town, South Africa – it was the best semester ever!!!
What will you miss most about Clark?
I will miss living close to all of my friends. I love that I can walk next door and say hi anytime I want.
What clubs and activities were you involved with on campus?
Swim team and Variant Dance Troupe
What are your best words of wisdom for underclassmen?
Enjoy yourself. Try something new! Go to a yoga class. Study abroad.
What are your plans post-graduation?
I am in the 5th year MAT program to be an elementary school teacher. Another year at Clark… yay!
Thanks, Margaux!
