Each year SMU elects a new president of Student Senate. Each year posters and buttons of nominees faces pop up all around campus. Each year our Facebook News Feeds get clogged with candidates campaign photos and videos. Each year the two-day voting window comes around and we the students are forced to choose a new face and a name to the office of Student Body President.
With so many candidates, so many videos, posts, pictures and posters, sometimes it all just seems to turn into a popularity contest. Below we’ve have quickly bulleted the most important points in each candidates’ campaign.
