“It’s hot. It’s cold. It’s lukewarm. It’s amazingly hot again. No, we’re not talking about a steamy on-again, off-again romance. We’re talking about spring!” – Kristen Koch

Spring is a time of transition. Out with the old and in with the new. In Vancouver, spring just means rain with a chance of sun. However, there are some style transition tools we can use to adapt to the potential warmer months.

1. Change your nail shape

2. Lighten your hair – hair change!

Change is a good thing, so embrace it! Shorter hair and longer nails.  Transition into spring with lighter and brighter shades.

3. Roll up/cuff your sleeves

4. Cuff the bottom of your jeans

Rolling, cuffing, tying and tucking items of clothing can change the dynamic of any outfit.  Simple yet effective.

5. Start incorporating patterns

6. Off-the -shoulder tops

Nothing says spring and trendy like an off-the-shoulder top.  This staple can now be found anywhere. Zara is my favorite store when it comes to picking up trendy and season appropriate pieces.  So try a denim or patterned off-the-shoulder top to welcome the spring season.

7. Fashion frames

Change up your look with some funky fashion-forward frames.  They are available in all shapes, sizes and colors. Try a reflective lens for spring!

8. Midi dresses

Midi dresses are another fashion staple that can be taken from day to night and cold to hot. These dresses will soon be one of the most cost effective pieces in your wardrobe.

9. Yellow

Incorporate this “it” color for the season!

Happy styling everyone!
