The highly-anticipated Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicked off its first weekend in Indio, California on April 14, 2017. Everyone from celebrities to Instagram influencers to performers flocked to the gathering in their best clothing to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience that many of us normal people don’t get to have. Thankfully, social media lets us keep up with Coachella in real time through live streams on the internet as well as through social media with Snapchat and Instagram. While it is a music festival, many can argue that Coachella provides a place for concertgoers to show off their unique and fun styles. Many plan their outfits months ahead of the festival and compete for who has the best boho-festival style. Here are some ways you can recreate these fabulous outfits without spending a ton of money.

We all know that one person who loves to be decked out in black and this outfit is for them. Taking inspiration from Australian YouTuber, Cartia Mallan, you too can look fierce in this dark ensemble. Take a black crop top, leather skirt, newsboy cap and a tied biker jacket around the waist and you’ll be Coachella-ready!

Sammy Robinson – Boho Babe

Get in touch with your free spirit like Australian YouTuber, Sammy Robinson and pair prints that will make you stand out from the crowd. Sammy rocked her cross-over halter neck top, but for those of you who aren’t willing to bare that much skin, a bandeau that keeps your upper half more covered is a good alternative. Allow your legs to move in a flowy maxi skirt and stay grounded with a nice pair of boots.

Shay Mitchell – Classic & Cool

For Coachella, this Pretty Little Liar kept it simple, showing off her amazing abs with a black cropped graphic tee, light-wash distressed high-rise shorts and a classic pair of black booties. This outfit will keep you looking stylish as well as comfortable while you dance around with your friends all night long.

Vanessa Hudgens – Golden Goddess

There is no doubt that Vanessa Hudgens is the Queen of Coachella. She has donned the best garb every single year. This year, however, she toned down a little bit, going for more simple looks rather than making bold statements. This shiny gold top, green shorts and tan booties will have you ready to bask in the sunlight and have all eyes on you.

American YouTuber, Katy Bellotte’s festival outfit is perfect for spring. Her style is known for being a little boho, girly and sophisticated. Here, she combines florals, solids and sandals to create a flirty, but flowy ensemble. To get this look, pair a floral bodysuit with a white maxi skirt and Roman-style gladiator sandals.

If you can’t afford the pricey tickets to Coachella, you can fake it ‘til you make it and take inspiration from these stylish get-ups. Many brands, such as H&M and Nasty Gal, have sections on their websites specifically for music festival season. Take advantage of the cute clothing you can find and you’ll always look Insta-ready for some candid photo ops!
