ILR Women’s Caucus Summit

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cornell chapter.

This coming Saturday, May 6th, the ILR Women’s Caucus will be hosting “Toward a More Equal Workplace Summit.” This is an amazing opportunity for students to network and engage in important dialogue regarding the barriers women face in the workplace and how to overcome said barriers. The summit brings students and professionals from a wide array of industries together to discuss topics such as the challenges women have faced over time, and continue to face, in the workplace and best practices that facilitate an all-inclusive workplace. The event will include breakout sessions with various speakers for each topic related to their professional careers, as well as a networking lunch and career advice panel. Speakers range from the first Vice President of Merrill Lynch to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Abortion Federation. This annual event is an especially valuable opportunity for students to learn, draw new insights on the world of work, and network with extremely accomplished female professionals. If you’re interested in free lunch, Insomnia Cookies and an invaluable networking opportunity and learning experience, please sign up at the direct link below:
