What is One Thing People Would Be Surprised to Learn About You?
I grew up in a traditionally Southern town (its claim to fame is being mentioned in the song “Wagon Wheel,” if that tells you anything).
Career Goals?
I have no idea what I want to do after college, but I know that I want to be funny while doing it.
How did you get involved in the Campus comedy scene?
I tried out for a couple of improv groups on campus and didn’t get in, but I met a great group of people who I started practicing with, and so we decided to make our own group.
What is your favorite part of working with Dad Jeans Improv and WMTV’s Saturday Night Tribe?
When you find people that you can have fun with, either in an improv setting or writing for something like Saturday Night Tribe, coming up with funny things is easier and really fulfilling.
What is one piece of advice you have for Freshmen (or anyone)?
Take some time for yourself; college (or life) can pull you thin sometimes, but it’s valuable to have some respite so you can re-center yourself every once in a while, even if it’s just an hour or two.
If you were President of the College for the day, what would you do?
Just walk into dining halls without paying for a meal. Who would stop me? Nobody. I’d be an absolute tyrant.
