October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the support at YCP is far and wide.

Phi Sigma Sigma kicked it off with dying the fountain on Main Campus pink! They had a table with bracelets, buttons, and a pink rainboot for donations. All the money they raised is going towards breast cancer research.

They also played Bra Pong – a game that Her Campus YCP will be hosting at Fall Fest!

Many other groups and organizations at York College of Pennsylvania have events and tabling planned as well, in order to help raise funds to donate towards breast cancer research.

Research for breast cancer has come a long way, but there is still a ways to go. The students at York College of Pennsylvania will be helping as much as they can to end, and/or reduce, breast cancer.

It is something that has touched everyone in some way, shape or form and there would be nothing better than to see to its cure.

So for the month of October, please do all you can to help – whether it be wearing the pink ribbon to show your support, getting checked out, or donating to breast cancer research!
