The Rutgers Spanish Club is a brand new club that will be one of the hundreds of organizations and clubs offered by Rutgers University. The club provides a comfortable and engaging space for students to practice their Spanish-speaking skills in a judgment-free zone through cultural events, conversation programs, and community service opportunities. Besides being able to practice their Spanish, members are also given the opportunity to become more immersed in Spanish culture and get involved with the New Brunswick community. Some future events coming from the Rutgers Spanish Club to look forward to are movie screenings in collaboration with the Rutgers Spanish department and the Day of the Dead collaboration with the New Brunswick Public Library (Sunday, October 29). This club is open to students of all levels. So don’t be shy, say hi! Meetings are Tuesday nights at Murray Hall 208 on College Ave at 9 pm.

This is a brand new club (this is their first semester) so it’ll be a great way to be a part of something that has so much in store for the future. It’s also an enticing club for students who need to fulfill community service hours because this club will be organizing opportunities for its members to give to our local New Brunswick communities.
