5 Things to Know About the New Starbucks Drink, the Zombie Frappuccino

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

1. The drink “resurrects” on Thursday, October 26th until Tuesday, October 31st.

Or, in other words, while supplies last for the drink! We all remember the struggle when the flavors run out just as it’s your turn to order the hit limited edition drink. Been there, I feel you!

2. The drink is made as a “chilling” creme-based frappuccino flavored with “ghostly” Green Caramel Apple Powder.

With a more seasonal taste, hopefully the Green Caramel Apple flavor will beat out the past Starbucks’ sensation, the Unicorn Frappuccino. With more sour than sweet flavor in the Unicorn Frap, the Green Caramel Apple flavor of the Zombie Frap brings hopes of a more “spooky” delicious taste.

3. The Frappuccino will be topped with “spine-chilling” pink powder and zombie brain-looking whipped cream!

The drink will also come topped with pink mocha drizzle. The drizzle oozing down into the drink is to perhaps appear as blood or guts.

4. You’re Frappuccino may just be served by a “undead” barista!

Baristas are encouraged to get in the spirit and dress up as Zombies! Also, it’s the perfect idea for an instagram shot of your “deadly” drink!

5. You’ll Lose Your Mind!

Just as the slogan says, “YOU’LL LOSE YOUR MIND.” Okay, maybe you won’t “lose your mind” per se, but your barista making the drink might! As remembered from the Unicorn Frappuccino, a complicated drink like this one is time consuming and tedious to make. So one way you might lose your mind is waiting in line as 20 people in front of you all ordered the same thing! Get ready for the “menacing” madness!
