The time has officially come. Halloween is almost here and it is arguably the best holiday ever, seriously don’t try to fight me on this. There is nothing more fun than getting everything you need for the perfect costume and going to a ton of great parties on Halloween weekend.

If you are anything like me, this is about the time you’re starting to stress about what, or who, you are going to be for the holiday. Fear not fellow Halloween lovers, this list of possible costumes and makeup looks is the perfect way to get the ideas flowing. Whether you are into DIYs or just want to go buy a costume, here a few popular costume ideas for Halloween 2017.

Easy Skull Makeup

Beauty Guru Chrisspy is one resident Halloween makeup queen on YouTube. Every year, she puts out a handful of incredible looks exclusively for Halloween costume inspo. These videos provide step-by-step instructions, like any great makeup tutorial, in addition to all the products she uses. While this Easy Skull Makeup is from her collection of Halloween 2016 videos, it’s so awesome to do this year too. And as a testament to just how easy it is, I did the look on myself last year for Halloween.

Wonder Woman

If you have not seen Wonder Woman yet, please stop reading and go watch it. Ok now that you watched it: WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO BE WONDER WOMAN? But seriously, Wonder Woman is such an iconic character and dressing as the Gal Gadot version of Wonder Woman for Halloween this year is definitely going to be a big hit. While some people can be super-crafty and create a Wonder Woman costume on their own, Target has the whole thing (minus a Gal Gadot wig) for only $40.

Eleven from Netflix’s Stranger Things

With Stranger Things Season 2 going live on Netflix during Halloween weekend, what better way to prepare than to have the perfect Eleven costume. Her most notable outfit from the series is the pink dress she borrows from Mike’s sister, Nancy. This Dolls Kill dress (only $45) is perfect for this costume, and the only thing you would need to complete it is a box of Eggos.

Rosie the Riveter

Rosie the Riveter is such an iconic image from U.S. History, everyone can picture her in their head. Doing your own take on a Rosie the Riveter costume is great because it’s so simple and yet everyone will know who are you trying to be — which is great news if you didn’t want to flex your guns all night long. A DIY take on Rosie the Riveter is so easy to accomplish. All you need to be the bad ass woman of your dreams is jeans, a red bandana, a denim shirt and some classic red lipstick.

Mickey from Netflix’s Love

From the first episode of Love, I knew I had found just that. If you haven’t seen it, check it out on Netflix. If you have, you already know and hopefully love the main character, Mickey, as much as I do. Gillian Jacobs as Mickey is easily one of my favorite characters of all time so I am 100% behind a Mickey costume. To recreate her bathing suit-as-a-bodysuit look from season 1, all you need a red halter bodysuit (or bathing suit if you have it), some skinny jeans, red strappy wedges and a huge oversized green and white flannel.

You can get really creative with these looks or use them as inspiration to find a costume you love. Halloween is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and try wearing different things you might not typically go for. Don’t stress too much over what to dress as, be creative and don’t forget to just have fun.
