This past summer, the world experienced a total solar eclipse (“total” in certain regions). It’s a phenomenon to the human race because they seem like such a rare occurrence, but in reality they aren’t. (If you wish to read all about it, here is the link.)
Tonight there will be another (not-so-rare) phenomenon. A meteor shower!!! (Or shooting stars, whichever you prefer.)
According to timeanddate.com, the best time to view Orionid will be “just after midnight and right before dawn.”
So, head outside with some friends, or a significant other. Grab a blanket and some snacks and watch the sky. Maybe even make a wish. It’s gonna be LIT!
