Being a college student usually comes with the connotation of being broke. So what do you do when you feel the need for some retail therapy? I’ve come up with some online shopping hacks that will keep you from breaking the bank:
1. Sign up for UNiDAYS
UNiDAYS is a website that lists all of the websites that provide discounts for students! These range from shoe stores to fashion brands like Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, and Missguided. It’s free to sign-up and can help you save up to 55% off!
2. Check out more affordable options
Zaful and Romwe are both websites that provide super cheap but high quality clothing. It might seem somewhat sketchy at first because the clothes do ship from China and sometimes the shipments come in separate packages with different deliveries, but you honestly can’t go wrong ordering from them.
3. Sign up for store emails
I know it can be annoying and your inbox can pile up with message, but if you have a Gmail account you can set up a different folder apart from your important mail specifically for these emails. This will provide you with random discount codes and sale opportunities that you otherwise probably wouldn’t have known about!
4. Wait for the holidays
For even the most random of holidays, certain websites will have sales; this includes Columbus Day, Labor Day and of course, Cyber Monday. If you’ve already signed up for emails, you’ll probably be notified before the sales even happen.
Happy shopping, collegiettes!
