When it comes to makeup, I’m usually pretty cheap, I don’t know much about it, and I don’t pay much attention to the brand. I stick with what works for a low price, so my makeup bag is full of E.L.F. and Maybelline. However, after trying this Tarte mascara, I’m absolutely sold on splurging a little for a quality mascara.
Tarte “Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1” mascara claims to lengthen, volumize, curl, and condition lashes, and I believe it does just that! I’ve never had a mascara that after one coat looks makes my lashes look so full, but not at all clumpy! It’s also easy to take off with makeup remover, but it doesn’t smudge on your eyelid or below your eye like some mascara does throughout the day. Also, the only word that comes to mind to describe this packaging is cool. It looks like a purple snakeskin print, and it’s giving me strong Taylor Swift “reputation” vibes.
For $23, yes it is expensive but, let me tell ya, it’s worth it. Don’t get me wrong, if you have a mascara that works for you and you can get it for $6, maybe don’t make the switch. But if you’ve tried everything and nothing seems to look good, give this one a shot and I almost guarantee it will work out well for you!
