Sometimes with the stress of school and finals, it can be hard to get in the holiday spirit. That being said, we wanted to provide you with five simple ways to get yourself feeling a little more festive this holiday season.
1. Decorate – Decorating your dorm room is one of our favorite ways to get into the holiday spirit. Some of our go to decorations are holiday sheets, a mini Christmas tree and A LOT of lights.
2. Watch holiday movies – At the end of the day, getting in bed with your favorite hot drink and a christmas movie not only puts you in a holiday mood, but it is also an excellent way to wind down from your busy day and have a nice and relaxing evening. Some of our favorite Christmas movies are The Polar Express, Elf, and Home Alone.

4. Listen to festive music – Listening to Christmas music is probably one of the most obvious ways to get into the spirit, but also one of our favorites. You can listen to it while your studying or even take a study break and have a dance party. Some of our favorite holiday tunes are Santa Tell Me, All I Want for Christmas is You, and Underneath the Tree.
5. Make holiday cards – This time of year is the perfect opportunity to show people how much you care about them. Making holiday cards is a great way to get in the spirit and do something nice for someone!
