Anna Faris may have had a rough 2017 personally, given her official split from husband Chris Pratt, but she is clearly not letting that affect her views of love. Rumors about her dating again aside, the actress recently officiated the wedding of her friend and podcast co-host Sim Sarna, and her fashion choices did not disappoint.
Refinery29 reports that Faris led the Friday wedding of Sarna and his new wife Amy while wearing a cozy pair of UGG boots and a blush pink dress. The actress shared photos of the happy couple and the ceremony on Instagram, where fans delighted in her throwback shoewear.
While there were understandably some followers not thrilled with the choice of UGGs, others were quite excited about Faris rocking them at the couple’s California wedding. One follower wrote, “Just when I thought I couldn’t love Anna Faris anymore she wears UGGs while I’m sure being by far the best officiant ever.”
Sarna asked Faris to officiate his wedding on a Thanksgiving episode of their podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, on which Sarna and his fiancée shared their love story. Faris had become certified to officiate weddings beforehand, but it appears that she hadn’t put those skills to use until her friend’s special day.
