The Bachelor Winter Games Season 1 Episode 1
This week on Her Campus I’m talking about The Bachelor Winter Games! (Winter Games? More like a Bachelorette Season 13 reunion, am I right?) When I heard the title, I figured that the show would be set somewhere luxurious like Aspen or the Swiss Alps, but I was wrong. It is set in Vermont. I’ll let you know now that I am obsessed with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but I think the idea of the winter games is kind of lame. However, I, like these contestants, am up for the challenge. Without further ado, let my first impressions of team U.S.A. begin!
Ben, 29, The Bachelor Season 20
Reaction: I hope that Ben is really on this show for love. I am not sure that was really ready to be back on a Bachelor franchise.
Who I see him with: Lesley or a Lauren B. type
Dean, 26, The Bachelorette Season 13
Reaction: Dean’s reputation was definitely damaged from Paradise, but he has a great attitude towards his horrible skiing skills.
Who I see him with: A foreign contestant
Eric, 29, The Bachelorette Season 13
Reaction: Eric will always be my favorite. Great personality and a total winner, but I do not think he’ll find love on TV.
Who I see him with: Maybe Ashley
Jamey, 33, The Bachelorette Season 13
Reaction: We didn’t learn anything about Jamey really. I agree with Lesley that he wasn’t very present.
Who I see him with: Too soon to tell
Josiah, 29, The Bachelorette Season 13
Reaction: I loved Josiah on Rachel’s season and I think his intentions on this season are good. He is totally the sweetheart of the group.
Who I see him with: Ally (New Zealand)
Luke, 33, The Bachelorette Season 12
Reaction: I can’t remember why I felt bad for Luke when JoJo sent him home. Definitely seems like a jerk.
Who I see him with: Alone, no offense
Michael, 37, “The Bachelorette” Season 9
Reaction: I did not learn anything about Micheal this episode. I think he had only 3 on-screen appearances.
Who I see him with: Clare
Ashley I., 29, “The Bachelor” Season 19
Reaction: Is it just me or is Ashley obsessively jealous of Bibiana? She will definitely make some enemies in the house.
Who I see her with: Maybe Luke
Clare, 36, “The Bachelor” Season 18
Reaction: You heard it here first, Clare is the Krystal of The Winter Games.
Who I see her with: No one, she is totally there for the wrong reasons
Lesley, 30, “The Bachelor” Season 17
Reaction: She kind of looks like Lauren B., the winner of Ben’s season! She seems very sweet but I think she will have a hard time fully opening up to the guys in the house.
Who I see her with: Maybe Ben?
Bibiana, 30, “The Bachelor” Season 22
Reaction: As much as I loved her time on Arie’s season, I do not like her on this show.
Who I see her with: Dean
