Hello everyone! I’m back with more blog posts for you all to enjoy. I hope you all had a wonderful month of January! To kick off this new semester, I’m going to share my cannot-live-without winter clothing essentials. Winter is sticking around in Minnesota for another couple months so you might as well look cute and stay warm while you’re at it!

Coat/Parka

This honestly is my #1 essential item. You cannot live in Minnesota if you don’t have a nice thick coat. I prefer parkas because they provide extra warmth (especially if they’re fur lined).

Winter Accessories (beanies, scarves, and gloves)

Keep your head and hands warm but still look fashionable by adding in a beanie, scarf, and/or gloves/mittens. I love the pop a color each of them give to your outfit.

Snow Boots

You can’t walk around campus without this winter must-have. I’ve seen people around campus wear birkenstocks and socks on the icy snow. Please don’t do that! Combat the snowy/icy sidewalks with snow boots and you’ll never slip!

Thermals

Thermals are a great layering piece to add under a sweater or jacket. It really keeps you warm all day long, indoors and outdoors. (Puffer vest also provide extra warmth as well!)
