The Hard Rock Casino is farther into the future than the rest if the world with their new idea of creating a huge guitar-shaped casino. Now that may be hard to picture in your mind, and it took the architects almost 10 years to see the vision themselves. There is so much happening with this building we should almost call it an attraction or entertainment destination. The CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International, James Allen, is the one who actually came up with this ginormous idea to create a building that not only looks like a guitar but is shaped like one down to all the details. The plan for the new hotel, which will be 450 feet high with 638 rooms, is set to make its debut in 2019. How is this possible you may ask? Well, the Hard Rock has two construction teams working 24 hours/7 days a week to get this done.
Not only are they building the new hotel but a $1.8 billion expansion for the property as well, with all sorts of unique features including restaurants and lounges and a 41,000 square foot spa. But of course they cant leave it just at that, one main feature isn’t enough. The Hard Rock Casino wants to be the destination for people all over the world. Adding a 10 acre lagoon pool will do just the trick. At the center is what they call the “Bora Bora Experience,” because of the private villas surrounded by water and waterfalls with private plunge pool access and cabanas and tiki huts submerged in the water. Don’t forget the private butler service, as if you weren’t in paradise already. I don’t think they could add anything else to this tropical world they are making. Soon people will be asking: Bahamas who?
The new Hard Rock attraction will be a world of its own. The builders thought of all the pools, outdoor activities and restaurants you could think of, but they definitely didn’t forget the fact that they are a casino. They will be doubling it in size and updating the Live arena as well replacing it with a 7,000 seat theater style venue with its own television studio and broadcasting center for shows and other events. This will be a site to see when its finished! On October 25th they were just a few stories high at the guitar smashing ceromony and now the building is already starting to take the guitar shape.
