7 Swimsuits You Need to Check Out Right Now

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Spring break is just around the corner; summer, too, is soon to follow. With swimsuit trends constantly changing from season to season, it’s easy to become frustrated trying to figure out which suits you should add to your collection next. Here are seven swimsuits that you need to check out right away. These suits are all sold on ASOS.com, which always has a 10 percent discount for students!

1. One-Piece

ASOS High Leg Elastic Waist Swimsuit, $26

One-piece swimsuits used to be so taboo; no one would ever reach for their one piece over a bikini. Now, one-pieces are making a comeback, and they could not be more chic and fashion-forward. I love this black one-piece with high-cut legs; it will really show off your bottom. The elastic through the middle will really flatter your curves. I’m also getting major Kim Kardashian vibes from it!

2. Vibrant Colors

ASOS Frill Plunge Bikini Set, $45-48 (Depending on the style of bottoms you get)

Nothing screams summer more than a fun colored bikini. Red, orange and yellow should be your go-to colors this summer. This red bikini is very vibrant; it’s sure to make you stand out. The playful frills are an added bonus!

3. Sporty

ASOS DESIGN color block cut out crop bikini set, $58

I’m a huge fan of more sporty bikinis because they make me feel a little more secure — I know that everything will stay where it’s supposed to stay. The pink and red combo makes for a great staple piece.

4. Little Black Bikini

ASOS Mix and Match Crinkle Crop Bikini Top, $23

Having a little black dress is a necessity — so is having a black swimsuit. A black bikini set looks chic, and a black top and a black bottom are great for mixing and matching with other bikini pieces. This style is super trendy right now.

5. Black and White

ASOS Mix and Match Mixed Gingham Pom Pom Longline Bandeau Bikini Top, $29

I am loving this trend. You cannot go wrong with a black and white swimsuit, whether it’s stripes or gingham. I have to say I’m a little tempted to get this one myself!

6. Floral Embroidery

ASOS Embroidered Floral Tie Front Crop Bikini Top, $35

Floral patterns are cute as is; but when it’s embroidered, it’s just that much cuter.

7. Classic Triangle Bikini

ASOS Flora Ditsy Floral Lace Triangle Bra & Hipster Bikini Bottom Set, $55

The triangle style is a classic for a reason — it looks great. Find a basic, solid color or a fun pattern, and you have yourself a suit that’s sure to be in style for more than just a couple of seasons.

Hopefully, you’ll find a swimsuit that’s more than Insta-worthy for all the beach and pool pics you’ll take with your best friends this spring break!
