There are no words to express my gratitude to you all. I would not be where I am today without you. Mom & Dad, you have taught me the morals & values that I am grateful for each day. You laid the foundation for my future. I don’t even know how to repay you. I miss you guys every day when I am here. I know you all know how difficult it is for me to be here, but you have supported me every step of the way.

Mom & Dad, thank you for every thing! I know I am not the normal college student, as I didn’t want to get as far away as possible from you! Saying bye is hard because how can I just say bye! You both have been with me every day of my life, & all of a sudden that changes! Its a good thing, but definitely an adjustment We all know that I have hard days, but this is where I am supposed to be. I know I won’t regret going away to college, so thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone. You always have my best interest in mind.

Katie, you have been my role model as long as I can remember. I always wanted to dress like you (that has changed lol) and do whatever you were doing. You are my best friend and the one I can always talk to. I’m so grateful to have you going through college, as you know what I’m going through. You inspired me to go away to college & experience the benefits. You always help see what is best for me & not just the easiest path . You should be so proud of yourself for adulting so well, & I hope to transition just as easily! I love you & thank you for everything.

My homesickness simply comes from how much I love you all. I miss Dad’s jokes & snoring. Mom’s singing and dancing, Katie’s outfit options, and Jacob’s forgetfulness. Of course, I miss Sadie cuddles & Smudge moments as well. I’m not sure I will ever get used to being away from you guys because of how close we are. But who said college was easy? Sometimes you have to challenge yourself & force yourself out of your comfort zone, & this is exactly what I have learned. There is no way I could be here without each one of you, & I don’t know how to say thank you enough.
