Kensington Palace Released the First Photos of Prince Louis & He is Too Cute

Kensington Palace is giving us our first look at the sweet, little Prince Louis as he settles into his family home.

Two photos featuring Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were released by Kensington Palace early Sunday morning. Both of the photos were taken by Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, ABC News reports. Kate, a keen photographer, has shared the photos that she has taken of her young children over the years.

The photo of Charlotte giving her little brother a kiss on the forehead was taken on May 2, Charlotte’s third birthday. In the photograph, Charlotte is seen wearing a hand-me-down sweater from her older brother, Prince George, showing that the royal family is just like us when it comes to recycling and reusing clothing items.

Prince George originally wore the sweater in a 2016 photo with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, commemorating her 90th birthday, PEOPLE reports.

The sweater isn’t where the similarities stop, however. According to ABC News, when Charlotte was born in 2015, Kate staged a similar photo, with George kissing Charlotte on the head.

In Louis’ solo photo, the little prince is seen wearing the same white jumper that Charlotte wore in her first photos with George, PEOPLE reports.

The new prince is just too cute!

In a statement Kensington Palace said, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank members of the public for all of the kind messages they have received following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.”

According to PEOPLE, Louis next big appearance will be at his royal christening, which will most likely take place in July. Louis will not be at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, but Louis’ older siblings are expected to play a part in the royal wedding.
