Taylor Swift Shares The Reputation Stage With Her “Real Friend” Selena Gomez at Rose Bowl Show

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

Taylor Swift surprised the entire audience during her second night at the Rose Bowl for her Reputation Tour by bringing out bestie Selena Gomez for a duet. The two beautiful ladies sang Selena’s hit “Hands To Myself” while marching across the stage.

Before bringing Selena out, Taylor shared a few words about their strong friendship and her love for Selena. As Taylor mentions in many of her songs, real friends (like Selena) are really important to her.

“Here’s a toast to my real friends… They don’t care about the he-said-she-said” -Taylor Swift, This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

After sharing the stage with her bestie, Selena thanks the audience for supporting someone who is “the most beautiful, strong, independent woman” she knows. Selena continues by thanking Taylor for keeping her spirits high during this difficult time in her life. “She’s encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about. I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family.”

Watching these two besties share their love and support for each other was a really emotional moment. Click here to read about the rest of Taylor’s Reputation tour!
