When we as fans find out our fave TV shows are canceled, we get furious. (Remember the uproar on Twitter when there was potential for no more Brooklyn Nine-Nine?) Imagine how the stars of those same TV shows feel when they hear that news.
Bella Thorne was not happy when she read news on Twitter that her Freeform series, Famous In Love, was canceled. Above all, she was shellshocked that the network didn’t call her directly about it.

Luckily for Bella, the report wasn’t completely factual, and Famous In Love may actually continue on. “No decision has been made at this time,” a Freeform spokesperson told Entertainment Weekly.
This is an example of some outlets jumping to conclusions about stories, as the average audience member’s attention spans has decreased with the advent of social media. I always assumed that the cast of a TV show would know about the status of the project. Are they not part of the team, too?
Famous In Love stars Bella as Paige Townsen, an average college student adjusting to life in the spotlight as she stars in a major movie franchise. The series was adapted for Freeform by the same team that made Pretty Little Liars for the network, including showrunner I. Marlene King.
Rumors have been swirling that Bella’s explosive tweet about the status of Famous In Love is a result of her rumored tension with I. Marlene King. The showrunner denied these rumors on Twitter:

It’s good to see that the Famous In Love crew has no hard feelings. Hopefully this means that the show gets a season 3 because we deserve it!
