Studying can be exhausting and with all the craziness of classes and extracurricular activities, it’s important to have time for yourself. My favorite way to de-stress since I was younger has been to binge watch and online shop. I have multiple shows that I’ve finished from beginning to end so many times, I’ve lost count. Here are five shows to watch on your next night in.

1. Gilmore Girls

Featured around a mother-daughter relationship, Gilmore Girls will always be one of my top series to watch. After watching this show, I have come to love small towns and the community that comes along with living in a smaller town. I love the quick wit of the girls and it’s so easy to become invested in their lives. It also holds a special place in my heart because I think it sheds light on how hard it can be to grow up sometimes.

2. Gossip Girl

I’ve loved Gossip Girl since high school. I remember watching it with my older sister when it first aired on the CW when I was younger, but I still love watching all the drama unfold. One of my celebrity girl crushes, Blake Lively, is amazing in it. I love being able to watch some of the craziness in the Upper East Side.

3. Keeping Up with the Kardashians

I used to not like watching the Kardashians, but after seeing a couple episodes I found myself wanting to watch them more and more. I don’t know if it’s the drama or all the insane things that happen to them that I love.

4. The Bachelor/Bachelorette

Watching a journey to finding love, count me in. I love watching who gets a rose each week and the romantic dates that they go on. The reality show is great to watch with a group of friends and keep up with on social media.

5. One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill was and is still an incredible show. There are so many incidents that the characters had to deal with that portrayed the difficulty of high school and finding who they are and what they want to do. Throughout the show’s time, the problems the characters faced are similar to ones that people have had to deal with every day.

When trying to decide what show to watch on a study break, I hope you’ll consider these five. What are your favorite shows to binge watch? Let us know on Twitter.
