It’s finally cooling off and you know what that means: sweater weather and warm drinks! Or cold drinks, if you want that. There’s a drink out there for everyone no matter what your dietary needs are. Here’s the best drinks of the fall season.

The Classics

Pumpkin Spice Latte

As cliche as it may seem, it’s a classic. Starbucks has its classic drink available now. Many other creamer and coffee companies make their own brand of pumpkin spice latte,  so everyone can  enjoy this favorite drink in the comfort of their own home!

Hot Apple Cider

Nothing screams fall quite like apple cider. Local farmers markets are likely to be selling their own cider and even Dunkin Donuts (certain locations) have their own brand  as well. However,  if you’re up for it, you can simply   buy a  whole jug of apple cider at your local grocery story,  pop a cup in the microwave. and add some cinnamon. Tada! There you have your own homemade hot apple cider drink.

For Vegan Diets

Candy Apple Frappuccino

At your local Starbucks, order yourself a frappucino with apple juice, a splash of cinnamon syrup, and a dash of raspberry syrup. To complete this vegan-friend splurge, add some soy milk, and voila, a sweet, vegan friendly treat!

Butterbeer Latte

Fall is synonymous for Harry Potter marathon weekends. What’s more perfect than a drink to pair it with? Order a soy latte and have the barista add toffee and cinnamon syrup, some whipped foam, and garnish this lovely drink  with some sea salt. Accio magically good drink!

For Lactose Free Diets

Tea

The most simple brewed iced or hot teas are served without any dairy products! Usually, they’re simply made up of water and a teabag. A personal favorite is Vanilla Rooibos, which has a sweet vanilla flavor and it’s best when you buy it loose. Loose tea is great because you can decide how much you want and it’s often cheaper, along with cute tea infusers (like the Tea-Rex or Mana-Tea).

Coffee

Fall means back to school which also late nights fueled purely by coffee. With everyone claiming to be somewhat lactose intolerant, the coffee world listened. There’s now many different types of coffee and coffee creamers that now come in a lactose free option! Some of these include Califia Nitro Cold Brew (also vegan), So Good So You Coffee Drinks, Java JUS and so many others.

For Low Cal/Low Fat Diets

Skinny White Chocolate Mocha

Nothing invites fall back  like a warm mocha! This sweet drink is a mere 110 calories, a drink that’s both yummy and on the healthier side. TheGoodStuff.com offers this recipe as well as other warm and tasty healthy drinks. You can find the recipe for the Skinny White Chocolate Mocha here.

Iced Green Tea Lemonade

Last but not least, this tea option  is for that summer nostalgia Starbucks has this great 70 calorie drink that’s both yummy and refreshing. Green Tea has a rather bitter taste but when mixed with lemonade, it becomes the perfect combination. You could even make your own by combining some lemonade with homebrewed green tea!
