When it comes to keeping all your photos with the same aesthetic or to fix a particular one to your taste, we struggle finding that perfect app to edit them. We usually look for something simple to use but also fairly professional. So that’s why I’m sharing with you the top 5 editing apps I use; they all are pretty easy to manage. Now, I don’t utilize them all at the same time, I evaluate what I want and then pick the one perfect for the job. Let’s get started!

1. Vsco Cam

Many may know about this one already. I love this one in particular because I can play with the colors of my photos, customize the exposure,  graduate between lighting and shadows, customization of temperature, or adjustment of alienation for the photo and many more features. It also has a variety of filters. This app can truly do wonders.

2. Snapseed

Snapseed is very similar to the previous one, but it has some special features that set it apart. In this one, you can edit the photo by selecting areas in specific and play with the picture a little. Also, this app is perfect to erase strangers from the background!

3. Afterlight

I love Afterlight! With this app, I can always make my pictures look very vintage-like. The features in this one are the perfect touch to a simple photo of your preference.

4. Huji

The Huji app is an also-known app, but regardless of the popular opinion, this one is not my favorite. However, I still use it once in a while to create the famous orangy kind of look and also kind of vintage. The only catch is that you have to snap the pictures from the app because if you want to import you’ll have to download the premium version.

Available for IOS and Android.

5. Photo Layer

Photo Layer is the app I go to when I want to spice things up a bit. I use it to create a background for my pictures with other pictures. It’s like adding a photo on top of one. You can also just choose a solid color and call it a background too.

That’s it! Remember to always have fun when playing with and editing your pictures!
