1. Colectivo Coffee Lakefront
Address: 1701 N Lincoln Memorial Dr.
Hours: M-Su: 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
This is by far my favorite location to study. The outdoor seating area and lighting combined with a calming scenic view of Lake Michigan offer the supreme spot for productivity and Insta-worthy posts. There is also an indoor area so big it’s almost city-like. You can take your pick at the variety of Colectivo Coffee locations in Milwaukee, but this one is the ultimate choice. Be warned though, it’s a hot-spot for students and professionals in the area.

Milwaukee’s best-kept secret was just voted Best Coffee Shop of 2017 by CityVoter. This place has an actual garden perfectly placed right next to their patio. The spacious area inside is stocked with comfortable couches with a coffee aroma that gives us chill vibes all day long.

5. Anodyne Roasting Co.
Address: 224 W Bruce St.
Hours: M-F: 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Sa: 7a.m.-8 p.m., Su: 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
This place is the essence of Milwaukee. The brick walls, occasional live music, and yes…beer. Not that that’s going to help you get work done, but Anodyne serves as a combination of a roomy café turned small music venue on special nights. So when you’ve officially fried your brain from studying, let loose and enjoy the entertainment.
