Pumpkin patches are easily one of the best aspects of the fall season, without a doubt. Getting dressed up in your cutest fall outfit, putting on your boots and snapping those Instagram worthy pics make for the perfect fall excursion for you and your best gal pals. Make sure to grab a couple of pumpkins and have a carving party to decorate your dorm/apartment and get into the spoopy season!

2. Have a Bonfire

With the weather finally getting chillier, it’s the perfect time to have a bonfire! Nothing screams fall more than gathering around a warm fire so grab your best group of friends, make some s’mores and take advantage of the cooler weather of the fall season. Don’t forget about the hot cocoa and your coziest blankets and jackets!

Fall food is undoubtedly one of the best parts of the season. The spices, baked goods, and delicious drinks make this the perfect time to try out your hand at baking. Plan a baking night with the girls and make anything and everything apple, cinnamon and pumpkin flavored. Nothing prepares you for Thanksgiving quite like eating copious amounts of seasonal deserts so start prepping for the glorious holiday now!

4. Go Apple Picking

Apple picking has been a long-loved fall tradition in the U.S. and I can totally see why. Throwing on a flannel, traveling to an apple orchard, enjoying the fall weather outside and snacking on delicious apples sounds like my slice of fall heaven! Take a road trip to a nearby orchard in Georgia and spend the day picking out delicious apples. Then hop on Pinterest and find the easiest fall recipes to make some apple cider or desserts, now that’s my ideal fall adventure.
