Vogue’s 73 Questions Segments

Have you viewed one of the many question videos that Vogue has? It is called 73 questions and they talk to celebrities and well known people random questions.  It is very interesting to see the perspective on some of the questions. Some of the questions include:

  • What is your hidden talent and can you show me?

  • If you can choose one closet to raid, whose would it be?

  • What is your go to acessory?

  • My friend is gift shopping for her husband, what should she get him?

  • Where is your favorite place to vacation?

  • Favorite author?

Now let’s discuss the interviewer, he is one of my favorites content wise.  The interviewer makes the interview conversational, but still relevant questions.  It seems he is asking them spontaneously, therefore I cannot tell if they have done more than one take.  Each question has great timing, smooth transitions, and simple edits. Each video has its own originality and character.  The interviewer uses first person instead of second and third person. Sometimes a random, staged person will come in and ask a question to the celebrity too which is interesting, but does not happen in every segment.

They have chosen several celebrities in a range of talents from actors and comedians to singers and youtubers.  Daisy Ridley who played Rey in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi was chosen right before the premier. Some others who have been interviewed include Emily Blunt, Michael Kors, Zac Efron, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Selena Gomez, and many more.
